Kitchen Classes Registration 2019 First Quarter – Click here to Register and Pay 

 

Class 1Kitchen Basics 1 – 6 sessions – Wednesdays and Fridays – January 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 and February 1, 2019 from 12pm -2pm – Cost $50.00 –  In this course, participants will learn how to properly use common knives and create essential knife cuts on readily available produce. They will also be introduced to two simple dinner recipes utilizing these skills.

Class 2 –  Kitchen Basics 1  -6 Sessions – Wednesdays and Fridays February 6, 8, 13, 15,20 and 22, 2019 from 12pm to 2pm – Cost $50.00 – In this course, participants will learn how to properly use common knives and create essential knife cuts on readily available produce. Class 4Make Ahead Meals – Saturday January 19, 2019  12:30pm – 4;30pm. Prior Kitchen Basics Class required. Cost $75 – This one day session will focus on making 3 different meals and freezing 4 single servings of each dish (the participant will take home 12 servings to freeze and use later).

Class 5Make Ahead Meals – Saturday January 26, 2019  12:30pm – 4:30pm. Prior Kitchen Basics Class required. Cost $75 – This one day session will focus on making 3 different meals and freezing 4 single servings of each dish (the participant will take home 12 servings to freeze and use later).

Class 6Make Ahead Meals – Saturday February 9, 2019  12:30pm – 4:30pm. Prior Kitchen Basics Class required. Cost $75 – This one day session will focus on making 3 different meals and freezing 4 single servings of each dish ( the participant will take home 12 servings to freeze and use later).

Class 7Make Ahead Meals – Saturday February 23, 2019  12:30pm – 4:30pm. Prior Kitchen Basics Class required. Cost $75 – This one day session will focus on making 3 different meals and freezing 4 single servings of each dish ( the participant will take home 12 servings to freeze and use later).

Class 8Make Ahead Meals – Saturday March  9, 2019  12:30pm – 4:30pm. Prior Kitchen Basics Class required. Cost $75 – This one day session will focus on making 3 different meals and freezing 4 single servings of each dish ( the participant will take home 12 servings to freeze and use later).

Class 9Make Ahead Meals – Saturday March 23, 2019  12:30pm – 4:30pm. Prior Kitchen Basics Class required. Cost $75 – This one day session will focus on making 3 different meals and freezing 4 single servings of each dish ( the participant will take home 12 servings to freeze and use later).

Class 10Breakfast Cooking – 4 sessions – Thursday – February 7, 14, 21, 28, 2019 –
12pm -2pm  Cost $40.00 Participants will learn how to prepare simple breakfast recipes found readily available in diners across the country.

Class 11 – Fresh Produce Prep– 4 Sessions – Thursdays March 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2019 –
12pm – 2pm Cost $40.00 This course will focus on preparing vegetables for side dishes and plant-based meals.

Class 12Skills/Tools Practice – 1 session Wednesday February 27, 2019
12pm – 2pm – Cost $20.00  Participants may receive recommendation for additional skills and tool practice based on performance in other classes, with personalized curriculum created on a person by person basis to further enhance proficiency. This course is also open to participants who independently choose to work toward skill mastery, or those who do not have natural supports in place to practice at home.

Class 13Skills/Tools Practice – 1 session Friday March 1, 2019
12pm – 2pm – Cost $20.00  Participants may receive recommendation for additional skills and tool practice based on performance in other classes, with personalized curriculum created on a person by person basis to further enhance proficiency. This course is also open to participants who independently choose to work toward skill mastery, or those who do not have natural supports in place to practice at home.
