Programs meet at the Clubhouse and around the neighborhood. Here are the next few gatherings, and the calendar has the full week.
North End also has a quarterly Resident Council and a quarterly Family Council, the same structure shared across every Village of Merici community.
The North End Neighbors.
The North End Neighbors are a dedicated group of volunteers from St. Christopher Episcopal Church who play a vital role in supporting our programs at the North End location. Their ongoing commitment helps foster connection, inclusion, and purposeful community engagement for the People we support.
In addition to running programs, the North End Neighbors also provide volunteer drivers for our Merici City Rides program, helping residents stay connected to the community. Throughout the year, they offer a variety of fun and engaging activities for residents, one of the most beloved being the annual pool party.

Technology in the home.
North End was our first community to integrate individualized assistive technology directly into each home. Each unit is equipped with personalized devices, and our team provides assessments, setup, and training so residents can effectively use the technology that fits their needs. OT Capstone students from UIndy and Indiana University visit each home, bringing an extra layer of hands-on support. In 2025 we presented this housing-and-technology model at the Indiana Affordable Housing Conference and the Assistive Technology Industry Association Conference.
