Village of Merici volunteers with Lawrence Advisory Council on Disabilities for Halloween Fest

Lawrence’s annual Halloween Fall Fest took place October 23rd, and Civic Park Plaza was packed with community members celebrating Halloween! Residents from Merici Village Apartments and The Brunette helped hand out candy and inform others about the mission of Lawrence Advisory Council on Disabilities (LACD) at their booth.

LACD aims to promote disability awareness in the Lawrence community and encourage employment opportunities and social inclusion of individuals with disabilities. Village of Merici has been involved with LACD since it was established, and we always enjoy the chance to connect with the Lawrence community!
